Can you imagine the harm a simple submarine cable cut can do to your business?

Can you imagine the revenue you can lose if you have no restoration?

If not, then just remember the summer of 2005. That was when SEA-ME-WE 3's link to Pakistan went down a number of times cutting off many local ISPs, LDIs, call centers and large corporations from the rest of the world, sometimes for more than a week. Although they were provided a satellite backup, it was delayed and not sufficient to cover all international bandwidth requirements. The result was that these operators lost many customers and with it, a lot of precious revenue. These affectees did not receive any compensation or rebates for the lost revenue either.

At Transworld, we fully understand what that means to your business. Being Pakistan's first private submarine fiber optic cable operator, we provide international connectivity at the speeds you desire and the reliability you expect. Now, you have the option of selecting a bandwidth provider who truly understands how vital every customer is to your business. We are different because

what do you think of the word "slow"? we live in fast-changing digital world where everything is fast. do you think we should slow down? what are the things that you want to bring back from the old days where everything was slow (such as writing letters, listen to LP records, using film camera)? How do you feel living in a fast pace? Is there anything you do to keep your composure? Do you feel like the word slow makes you fall behind?

TW1 currently delivers its access network facility in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. In Karachi, this is accomplished by connecting our landing station by dark fiber to different POPs in Karachi over 10 Gbps SDH self-healing ring. Our customer can co-locate with us in these POPs in Karachi. However, if a customer's access point is not located on the metro ring, then we can lay a tail circuit to the customer's premises from our nearest POP.

Transworld's POPs are located at the following addresses in Karachi:

1     503-Asia Pacific Building, Block, 19 Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi
2     209-The Plaza Building, Block 9, Clifton, Karachi
3     (Landing Station) C10-19 Bosicor Road, Lashkari Goth, Hawksbay, Karachi

Our Lahore & Islamabad POPs are connected over Mobilink/LDI DWDM Ring with our Asia Pacific POP in Karachi. The customers are connected using dark fiber services providers at both locations.

Transworld's POP is located at the following address in Lahore:
Mobilink MSC, 5th Floor, Edgerton Road, Lahore

Transworld's POP is located at the following address in Islamabad:
Mobilink MSC, I-10, Islamabad
